The Pacific Palisades estate of Peggy and Halbert Washburn was transformed in to a Chinese paradise for Children Chain’s annual dinner dance, Under the Shanghai Moon on October 2, 2010. More than 150 members and friends joined together to raise money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The event featured dinner, dancing, and a wine auction.

The event was sponsored and catered by Panda Restaurant Group and featured the signature Mandarin and Szechwan cuisine of Panda Inn. Traditional Chinese dancers kicked off the evening with a traditional Shanghai dance performance. A competitive wine auction was sponsored by Harry’s Wines.

Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well – resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case
